Our friends visit

We had some friends visit us last Friday and it was so wonderful to see them all, we haven't seen each other in months. We all knew each other before we had kids and now look at us. This is all our kids - 8 all together from our three families. All our kids are under six and yes they came to play dress up in case you can't tell (except of course Caleb and Zach).

Kaleigh and Madison

Welcome to three months

Jordan gives Madison kisses, and Madison doesn't mind, she loves her two older sisters and is becoming quite the little three month old. She has found her voice and it is precious, now if she would only find some more sleep we would all be very happy.

Sisterly love

I love the fact that my girls just love each other so much. It's fun to see the bond that they share, it really touches my heart, even if it doesn't last forever, which Lord willing it will, because there is nothing like a sister.

A little levity after the last few days

The smile taught by her sister

So Jordan has taught Madison how to smile with her tounge hanging out. It's hysterical. Jordan she loves her sister.

Spring Break

So after my insane attempt at going somewhere by myself with three kids was a disaster I decided to try to do things in a smaller scale. The rest of our spring break was pretty good. We visited some friends we hadn't seen in a while and we went to safety day at our church. The kids again learned about stranger danger and they met Detective Kline's search dog (they didn't like him too much). The dog was very sweet but a little large for their taste. We also took them to the Maryland Science Center at the Baltimore Inner Harbor, Michael and I that is, I didn't go alone. We had a great time and I highly recommend it to everyone. We also went to Chuck E. Cheese of course the kids favorite place. All in all it was a really good week, kind of made up for not being able to go to Florida.

OK So I'm insane

OK So I decided to take the kids to the Museum of Natural History by myself....all three kids....yes you read right...I am insane. Picture this millions of people, lunch time for me and the two older girls, in line for 20 minutes, 15 minutes to find a table, Thank You God people took pity on me and helped me with my tray and of course Madison needing to nurse. So we eat quickly as quickly as my kids can eat and lets find a bathroom to change Madison and feed her in a quite place. Yeah it doesn't exist in the museum. So nursing Madison on the front steps on Independence Ave in DC....before long Jordan has to go to the bathroom again. Go inside Jordan goes to the bathroom, finish nursing Madison and Kaleigh has now decided she needs to go to the bathroom. Needless to say we got to see two exhibits and we left. That was in three hours. Went home went to Conversations that night at church ( really good) and then went home. Kids were great, went right to bed nursed Madison 7:00pm, 9:00pm and 11:30pm she slept until 5:30am. All the exhaustion from the days travels helped her to sleep (maybe) or she was just really full from the every two hour feeding from the time we got home until bed. Who knows but yippie... I got sleep. Hallelujah!
